Bowflex Xtreme XTLU

I live in NC and purchased the XTLU on a Friday. The next Wednesday the purchase was taken out of my account. I received a tracking number on Wednesday and I received the Bowflex on Thursday. Apparently they ship from Virginia.

I put the machine together by myself and it took about 2 hours and 40 minutes. The hardest part is looking for all the pieces in the 9 boxes that comes with the XTLU. I received 10 boxes with the 100 LBS upgrade.

I worked out on the machine for the first time last night. Going from exercise to exercise is not hard, but you do need to think about what pulleys you need to use, to work the muscle you want.

I felt like I did get an ok work out and based on how sore I am today it seams I did work my muscles pretty good.

I will say that my girlfriend loved the machine. She felt a lot more comfortable working out at home and not being intimidating in the gym. She did all the exercises she wanted to do in about 1 hour. It took me longer than 1 hour because I worked each muscle longer and harder.

Conclusion: Although I have only used the machine once I am happy with it. I do recommend at least the 100 LBS upgrade for most guys. I will be getting the other 100 LBS as soon as possible.
