I am 40 now and for the last 3 or 4 years I just have not had the energy to go to a gym either before work or after work. I finally dived in and ponied up for the Bowflex Extreme 2.

I bought one at the local store in Burnaby, British Columbia for $1948CDN (yes they well deal, you just have to push), thats $150 savings over purchasing on the web + there was no shipping charges another $150 or so saved.

It came packaged extremely well, everything fit like a glove and went together in about 3hours.

Well, I have now worked out for 3 weeks. I can say that this is an excellent piece of equipment. I get a real good burn! Due to the cables you must use you stabilizer muscles; I noticed them right away.

I only have 2 things the bug me: 1 - when using only 5, 10, or 15 pounds the power rods tend to bang on the center cross bar, to fix this Bowflex should move the lower pulley out more. 2 - the leg attachment works really well, but with my wife being 1ft shorter than me, it has to be adjusted but there is no easy way to adjust - why can’t they make this simple like the rest of the machine.

The instruction manual is excellent, I followed the assembly guide to the letter and it all worked as planned.

I highly recommend this machine to anyone who wants to work up a good sweat and feel the burn the next day.
