You have to think seriously before you buy this expensive machine. I bought it mainly for my wife, it was a gift. She absolutely loves it and that makes me happy.

I also was planning to use it myself because it looks so cool on TV. To tell ya honestly if you at least a little bit athletic and in good shape you dont need this device. It is too slow and boring. I rather run 10 mph on my 400-dollar Wal Mart treadmil. Thats my type of exercise.

Treadclimber is for somebody who needs a good cardio exercise at a slow to medium pace. Great for people who would enjoy walking exercise. By all means walking at 4 mph on Treadclimber will make you burn more calories than walking on treadmil at 0% incline. And it is more fun. Very good arm support. Arms are located kinda under you so you really can control what you are doing. But of course you have to be careful at the beginning falling accidents happen. It takes time to adjust, first you wonder why one leg is running higher than the other.

In short period of two months that we had TC it had been working good without any malfunctions. Of course its too soon to tell this is 2000 dollar machine it better live a long life. Hope my reviews helps.

By the way assembly is not that easy. I did it on my own. It is recommended to have 2 guys to put it together. And it takes more than 1 hour to assemble.

Also it is very space efficient. You cant fold it like a treadmil but it doesnt take much of a floor space as it looks on TV.
