I’ve only just received my Bowflex a few days ago, after what seemed like an eternity of waiting. It took the whole 4 weeks to get it. You would think as much as they advertise these machines on TV it would ship the next day. But anyway, back to the topic, like I said I’ve only had it a few days, but if your looking for the best so far so good, great resistance, solid built piece of equipment, the only problem I have so far is I got two fasteners that had cross threaded bolts. Which Bowflex gladly replaced.

I purchased the top of the line machine, because I wanted the lat tower attachment, and squat attachment, the lat tower is worth every penny, (squat attachment so, so It does work but difficult to get the cable attached and adjusted properly to get the full range of motion.) But overall this machine works like a charm the seat slides very smoothly, the bench is very easily attached and detached for different exercises. Oh and by the way, buy the extra power rods, I got the additional 50lbs. of rods and I’m glad I did, otherwise I would have to use all the rods to do the leg presses and would have to had to buy additional rods very soon to increase the resistance, as my legs got stronger. I would have to say this is well worth the money for a in home gym, only if your serious about working out, don’t buy it unless you are. Otherwise you’ll have a very expensive coat rack. (OK, here’s the six week skinny on the equipment) I’ve gain about 5 pounds of muscle and lost about 15 pounds of fat. I exercise three times a week as the exercise guide suggested.

I finally figure out the squat attachment which by the way dummy me had the lower platform on in reverse to start off with. It works excellent now and I also use it for a flat bench press which allows me more stability with heavy weight.

By the way, I am 42 years old and this thing has got me back into the shape I was in ten years ago.. I didn’t think I would ever see my pecks again. But there they are standing up like small mountain, which i attribute to the isolation you get doing seated flys. So once again if your serious about getting in shape, this is your best bet for in home equipment.
